Haulotte’s New Headquarters Optimizes Employees’ Quality of Life, Performance

Post date:  09/22/2020 - 11:17am After 17 months of work, the new Haulotte headquarters office, called H3 for Haulotte Higher Headquarters, has welcomed some 350 employees in the town of Lorette in Loire, France. Alexandre Saubot, chief operating officer, said, “H3 is an important investment that opens a new era in Haulotte’s history. This new step is part of the transformation of our group to provide a head office that reflects its values and strategy.” The three-story complex, designed by architectural firm Eutopia, sits on a 333,680-sq.-ft. green site. It is designed to optimize employees’ quality of life at work. Three buildings named “Europe-Africa,” “Americas,” and “Asia-Pacific,” reflect the worldwide activity of the major player in the people and material lifting equipment industry. Connected by an immense glass roof and walkways, the buildings offer bright interior spaces with areas designed for interaction that encourage collaborative work in state-of-the-art thermal and acoustic comfort. The business center is designed to receive the group’s partners and provide training courses developed by its new “Haulotte Academy” organization. And a company restaurant called “Le Bistrot” that will feature local producers, rounds out the buildings. Charging stations for electric vehicles in the car park complete the facilities. Adjacent to the three buildings, a 26,910-sq.-ft. covered space is dedicated to the innovation and prototypes needed to develop the equipment and services of tomorrow. This space also houses a showroom to showcase the group’s know-how and to host events for Haulotte’s customers and employees. Patrice Métairie, group COO (Industry) in charge of this project, said: “Architecture and the work environment strongly influence our ways of working and collaborating, but also our creativity and commitment, and therefore our collective performance. It is to meet these challenges, and in line with our values, that the H3 working environment was designed and created by our employees, for our employees.” The group’s new emblem would not have seen the light of day without collaboration from 130 people on committees such as: the catering area, decoration, building and work-space naming, and the organization of the group’s various departments within the three buildings. The main objective: quality of life at work and collective performance.    Category:  Construction Industry News
