262t SMART Carousel Lifted with Complete Set of Enduro Softslings

A SMART Carousel weighing 262t was successfully lifted in the Alaska Port in Amsterdam. This carousel, with a diameter of 15m, was used for onshore cable storage.

It marked the first lift in which a complete set of Enduro Softslings was utilized. The set consisted of four 6m EWL slings with a WLL of 60t and four 22m EWL slings with a WLL of 120t.

The SMART Carousel features a modular, containerized design, allowing its diameter to be adjusted from 13m to 24m.

The system is suitable for product weights ranging from 1300t to 6500t, under various conditions, from (offshore) transport to onshore storage.
