Wens Maritime BV have put a new definition to the words ‘intermodal transport’.

They have shipped 3 new build tensioners of 65t each…

These tensioners were manufactured in Bur, Denmark and to be delivered in Shanghai…

They required road transport from Bur to Esbjerg…

…ferry transport for coastal transport Esbjerg to Zeebrugge…

….barge transport from Zeebrugge to Antwerp…

and finally shipped as breakbulk on a container vessel from Antwerp to Shanghai…

All was coördinated and lined up perfectly. Special thanks to go out to Aertssen Group and CMA CGM for their much appreciated excellent service !
