The Grand Bahama Shipyard is excited to announce the arrival of their first new dry dock, “East End”.
Its Impressive measurements are:
- Length 357m
- Width 70m
- Lifting capacity 93,500t
This remarkable addition represents a pivotal step forward for Grand Bahama Shipyard, strengthening their position as a first-class centre of excellence for ship repair and conversion projects on the US East Coast.
The ship yard eagerly anticipates the arrival of their second dry dock in Q2 2026, which will further enhance their capabilities.

In September a project team from Boskalis loaded the “East End” onto the BOKA Vanguard in Qingdao, China.
